Protect what makes you defensible, and skip what doesn't.
IP is a budget decision before it is a legal one. We help you decide what to patent, what to keep as a trade secret and what to trademark, then file it, so your portfolio holds up when investors and acquirers look.

IP questions
A provisional application secures a filing date and gives you 12 months to file the full utility application. It's useful when you're about to disclose an invention publicly or pitch it, but it only protects what it actually describes, so a thin provisional can give false comfort.
You should at least clear the name before you invest in it. Registration can follow, but finding out about a conflict after launch is costly.
Patent applications are prepared and prosecuted by registered patent practitioners before the USPTO.
