If you do repeat work for the same customers, a master agreement with short work orders saves renegotiating every job. We draft or review the master terms, the scope of work template and your standard terms and conditions, so each new project starts with the commercial points already settled. Clear scope language is also the best way to avoid change order disputes later.

Master Agreements & Scopes of Work: questions founders ask
It is a framework contract that sets the legal and commercial terms for repeat work between the same parties. Each job is then issued as a short work order or scope of work that refers back to it.
At minimum, the work included, what is excluded, the assumptions your price relies on, the schedule and the documents that define the work. Clear exclusions and assumptions are what make later change requests easier to support.
Mostly, but some terms such as indemnity, lien waivers and payment timing are governed by the law of the project state. We flag the clauses that may need state-specific versions.
Flat fee, quoted before we start. The quote depends on the number of documents and how much customization they need.
